Olde American – An Urban Explorer’s Photo Journal Pt.2

For a long while, all I could think about was urban exploring. I dreamed of running far, far away, and getting lost in the wastelands that comprise the deserts of North America.

In my visions, days were spent finding abandoned buildings and taking photos of them, while nights were reserved for lounging around the campfire in some little lot in the middle of nowhere.

Sunrises and sunsets were marked with tasteful hues of purple, orange, and pink. Standing alone in the darkness, staring out for miles into the night or morning air invigorated me.

Some days, I still get the urge to run. And some days I wish I were lost in the veins of America, flowing along some interstate like the mighty Chinook salmon to the next adventure.

These photos were taken in various places, from Bishop, Mendocino, and the borders of Arizona, Nevada, and California.
